This award confirms the excellence of our university, which now has an additional tool to strengthen its research with investments in human capital, infrastructure and high quality teaching activities. 

The selection of 180 departments of excellence nationwide was made among 350 departmental projects, and was based on the projects' feasibility, their consistency with national research priorities and expected impact.
