DEMM’s research activity is carried on individually and within groups, and is financed by national and international institutions such as MIUR and the European Commission, as well as by private sponsors. The Department hosts the Ph.D. Program in Economics managed by the Lombardy Advanced School of Economic Research (L.A.S.E.R.), and participates in the PhD programs in “Financial Markets and Financial Intermediaries”, “Human Interaction: Psychology of Consumers, Behavior and Communication”, “Marketing and Business Communication”, “Statistics”, and “Technological innovation for agri-food and environmental sciences”.
Our staff publish extensively in national and international scientific journals. Our preliminary research is published in our working papers series and is widely disseminated electronically through the Research Papers in Economics (REPEC) web site, the Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN) and the Berkeley Electronic Press research papers series.
